1/2 c butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 c coconut
1 1/2 c rice krispies (substituted for bran flakes in original recipe)

Directions:

Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Blend in coconut and cereal. Roll into balls or drop by teaspoonful onto baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
