1 1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup white sugar

2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking soda

3 cups white flour
36 oz chocolate chips, white dark and semisweet chocolate.

Directions:
Cream first 4 ingredients together. One at a time, add the eggs. Add vanilla, baking soda, and salt. Add wheat flour, then white flour. Add chocolate chips. Chill dough for at least 2 hours or overnight. Freeze for up to 3-4 months. This helps the wheat flour absorb moisture and adds chewiness to the cookies.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Barely brown is perfection.
