1/2 C. Margarine
1/4 C. packed brown sugar
1 egg, separated
1 C. flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 C pecans
Jelly - or Strawberry preserves
Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolk. Add flour, mix well. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Shape dough into small walnut-size balls, dip in beaten egg white. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press thumb into center of cookie. Bake 375 about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spoon small amounts of preserves or Hershey Kiss into indentation of cookies.
