Ingredients: Ingredients for cookies: 6 Eggs 1 Cup Crisco (melted) 1 Cup Sugar 4 T. Baking powder 2 tsp. Orange extract 5 ¼ C. Flour plus 1 T. 1 - 12 oz. bag of chocolate chips
Ingredients for glaze: 1 ½ cups of confectioners sugar 2 T. orange juice 2 T. milk

Directions:Directions: • Beat eggs; add in melted shortening, sugar and orange extract. • Put flour and baking powder into a separate bowl and pour into egg mixture a bit at a time. Mix together as you pour. • Dough will be stiff. Pour in a 12 ounce bag of chocolate chips and stir. • Roll cookies into small balls (they will puff up!) and bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. (Check at 10 - 12 minutes – cookies should be lightly browned on bottom.) • After cookies cool, mix up a thin glaze made out of 1 ½ cups of confectioner’s sugar, 2 tbsp. orange juice and 2 tbsp. of milk. Dip cookies in glaze and set on cookie rack to dry. |
