½ c butter softened
1 c sugar
½tea vanilla
1 egg
1 tea lemon zest
2 tbs lemon juice
¼tsp salt
¼tsp baking powder
⅛tsp baking soda
1½ c flour
½ cup powdered sugar for rolling

preheat oven 350
in bowl cream butter and sugar until lightl and fluffy
whip in vanilla egg lemon zest and juice
scrape sides and mix again
stir in all dry ingredients slowly until combined except powdered sugar
roll dough in ball and roll in powdered sugarby tablespoon
bake 9-11 minutes until bottom barely brown
