1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet. Using a fork dipped in sugar, press a crisscross shape into the top of the cookies. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.
