2 eggs, lightly beaten
3/4 c. 2% milk
2/3 c. finely crushed saltines
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. rubbed sage
Dash pepper
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Add beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into an 8 X 4-in. loaf in an ungeased 15 x 10 x 1-in baking pan.
In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients, stirring to dissolve sugar; remove 1/2 cup for sauce. Spread remaining mixture over meat loaf.
Bake 1 hour or until a thermometer reads 160º. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve with the reserved sauce.

We found this recipe right where she said it was, in the bottom of a drawer. It must have been good because she has "very good" written 3 times on the recipe.
