1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. Robin Hood flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, shortening, eggs and vanilla thoroughly.
Spoon flour into measuring cup. Level off and pour onto wax paper.
Add baking powder and salt to flour. Stir to blend. Add blended dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well. Chill several hours until firm.
Roll out small portions of dough on lightly floured cloth covered board to 1/8" thickness.
Cut with floured cookie cutters. Place on baking sheet; sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375º for 8 - 10 minutes.
