3/4 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 t vanilla
1 egg
2 cups flour
½ t baking powder
½ cup raspberry preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together until smooth. Add vanilla and egg. Mix together flour and baking powder and slowly add to butter and sugar mixture until well combined. Divide dough into four equal parts. Toll each section into 12” by ¾” rope. Use the handle of a long wooden spoon to make a well down the center of each rope. Fill well with jam and bake @ 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
