1 1/2 c melted butter
2 c brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 t baking powder
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 c dried mixed fruit chopped with 2 T flour (measure after chopping)
3 c flour

Directions:

HAS TO CHILL.
Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs, powder, and vanilla. Add fruit. Then add flour gradually. Refrig 20 min. Divide to 4 parts. Roll in wax paper into log app 12". Refrig at least 4 hrs. PREHEAT 375º. Cut 1/4" slices and place on greased sheet. Bake 10 min. Cool 1-2 min and to rack.
These are not sweet. Can dust with powdered sugar.
