5 pounds of golden or red delicious
sugar to taste
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Wash apples and cup into quarters.

Put in a pan with about a cup of water and cook until soft.

Then put apples in a sieve and stir.

Put the apple mash in a bowl and stir sugar and spices into the apples.

Serve warm or cold.
