Loretta (Kleman) Guggemos was my great-grandmother, and although she died while I was in 2nd or 3rd grade of elementary school, I remember "Grandma Guggie" as a wonderful cook! Although she was a widow at a young age (her husband was killed at a railroad crossing in Tulia) with many mouths to feed, she ALWAYS had homemade treats for any visitors to her home. She also served as the Nazareth school lunchroom manager from 1944-1958. Even the non-related school students called her "Grandma Guggie".
