1½ c. Flour
¼ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Baking Soda
1½ c. Brown Sugar, packed firmly
½ c. Butter, softened
1 Egg
1 c. Pecans, chopped

Frosting
½ c. Half and Half
⅓ c, Brown Sugar, packed
1¾ c. 10x Sugar
1 c. Pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350º

Batter
In a small bowl stir together flour, baking soda and salt, Set aside.
In large mixer bowl beat the brown sugar and butter on medium speed and combine.
Add the egg and beat until fluffy.
Add flour mixture to the butter mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, mixing after each. Beat until combined.
Add in the pecans and mix.
Drop by round teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined sheet trays. Bake 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are slightly brown.
Transfer to wire baking racks and cool completely.

Frosting
In a small saucepan combine the half and half and 1/3 cup brown sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil for 2 minutes more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and beat in the 10x sugar
Place 1 tsp. of the other chopped pecans on top of each cookie and drizzle frosting over.
Let stand at room temperature until set then store in an airtight container.
