1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3 cups old-fashioned oats
1⅓ cups all purpose flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350ºF. Cream sugar and butter. Add baking soda, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, eggs, and mix thoroughly. Stir in oats, flour, and walnuts. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to wire rack and let cool.
