2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. Allspice
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
½ cup warm water
3 med. apples, grated

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream sugar, shortening. Add eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla.
2. Sift flour & spices. Add to creamed mixture alternately with warm water. Last add grated apples to batter.
3. Bake in bundt pan at 275º-300º for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
