8 cups all-purpose flour
2 pkgs. yeast
2 cups warm water
3/4 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon salt
3 eggs

Directions:
In a large bowl place 4 cups flour. In another bowl combine water, yeast, oil, sugar and salt. Break eggs into flour mixture, then add water/yeast mixture to flour. Beat on low, until somewhat mixed, then scrape sides of bowl. Beat on high speed for 3 min.Then mix in 3 cups flour to make a soft dough. Turn onto a floured board and knead. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Allow to double in size, punch down. Pull pieces, a little smaller than tennis balls, folding under, so they are smooth on top. Place in a greased cake pan, with the sides close to touching, allow to double, then bake in 375 oven for 20 min. As soon as they are done, butter tops.

I tried many recipes, trying to find something close to Grandma Lucy's rolls. This one is the closest. They are awesome, eat them while hot, with butter and jelly...just like I did at Grandma's.
