Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 cup flour (sifted)
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar
Sift together salt, baking powder and flour and add to cream mixture
Blend in egg and vanilla
Cut with cookie cutters
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet in 400ºf preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes
For extra sparkles and colour, glaze your cookies

3/4 cup sifted confectioner sugar
3 to 4 tsp water
Food colouring

Blend together
Brush cookies with glaze while still warm
