¼ lb. margarine
¾ c. sugar
½ lb. cut up dates
2 egg yolks
½ c. nuts
½ tsp. vanilla
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut (approximately)
Directions:
Directions:
Melt margarine; add sugar, dates, egg yolks and vanilla. Simmer about 5 minutes, stirring continuously. When dates dissolve, add nuts and Rice Krispies. Stir until mixed. Let Cool. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in coconut.

Note: You may use leftover egg whites to make macaroons.
