2¼ C. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 C. softened butter
¾ C. sugar
¾ C. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 12-oz. pkg. (2 C.) Nestle Semi-Sweet Real Chocolate Morsels
1 C. chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts, if desired. Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes. Makes 100 2" cookies.
If cookie dough seems sticky and not stiff enough, 2-3 more T. of flour can be added.
