1 cup butter or margarine
1½ cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1½ teaspoons vanilla
1½ teaspoons lemon juice
2½ teaspoons baking powder
3½ cups flour
1 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Roll into 1-inch height by 3-inch wide rectangles that are 10 inches long.

Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in freezer for 15 minutes.

Cut into ¼ inch slices and bake at 325 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.
