2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 stick Crisco butter-flavored solid vegetable shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. each white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and mint chocolate chips (or Andes mint pieces)
2 c. chopped walnuts

1. Heat oven to 375. In small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. In large bowl, with electric mixer, cream butter, vegetable shortening, sugars and vanilla.
2. Add 2 eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. On low speed, beat in flour mixture. By hand stir in chips and walnuts.
3. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on un-greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or til golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
