1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup of confectioners sugar, sifted
1 cup sifted cake flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter until soft, add vanilla, Add sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy. Sift flour. measure. Sift again with salt and add gradually to sugar mixture. Add pecans. Mix well. Drop by moderate oven 325 degrees for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned. While hot, roll in confectioners sugar.
