Cookie dough:

1 C butter
¾ C veg oil
1¼ C sugar
¾ C powder sugar
2 Tbsp water
2 eggs
½ tsp soda
½ tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
5 ½ flour

Frosting:
½ C butter
1 tsp salt
¾ C sour cream
¼ C milk
2 lb powder sugar
red food coloring (to make pink icing)
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together:
oil, sugars, water & eggs

Combine dry ingredients then add slowly to wet ingredients.
Dough will be dry - not sticky.
roll into golfball sized balls

¼ C sugar - mix together and place in flat dish
pinch of salt

Press dough with bottom of glass dipped in the sugar mix

Frost cookies when cool.

Bake @350º for 8 minutes
