1 cup butter room temperature
3/4 cup veg. oil
1 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 T water
2 eggs
Dash almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream tartar
1 tsp. salt

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup sour cream, 1 (2 pound pkg.) powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt 2-4 T milk 1 drop red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, oil, sugars, water, eggs and extracts.
Combine all dry ingredients.
Slowly add to butter.
Dough crumbly not sticky.
Roll into golf ball size dough or use a cookie scoop.
Place on cookie sheet.
Put 1/4 cup sugar in a dish (this is in addition to the sugar listed above).
Stick bottom of glass into the sugar and push firmly into the center of the ball, let dough
spill out over the sides of glass..
Bake 350 for 8 minutes, cool 1 -2 minutes before putting them on a cooling rack.
Refrigerate

Frosting: 1/2 cup butter room temperature, 3/4 cup sour cream, 1 (2 pd. pkg.) powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt, 2-4 T milk.
Cream together butter, sour cream, salt and slowly add powdered sugar.
When it gets too thick do a splash of milk.
Alternate this process until frosting is desired consistency.
Add 1 drop of red food coloring. whip on high for 1 minute, frost, cool store in refrigerator.
