Ingredients: Cookies: 1 Cup Butter 2 Cups Sugar 2 Eggs 3 tsp. Vanilla 1 Cup Sour Cream 1 tsp. Salt 2 tsp. Baking Soda 5 ½-6+ Cups Flour
Buttercream Frosting: 4 Cups Powdered Sugar ¼-⅓ Cup Milk ½ Cup Butter 2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

Directions:Cookies: 1. Cream butter and sugar together. Then add eggs and vanilla. Add Sour Cream. 2. Combine salt, baking soda, and flour. Add to mix a little bit at a time. You may need to add or omit a little flour until the dough is at a good consistency. 3. Flour your table surface so dough doesn't stick to table or roller. Roll out dough to about ¼-⅓" thick. 4. Take favorite cookie cutter and cut out desired shape. Use a spatula to place cookie on to prepared (greased and floured or parchment paper) cookie sheet. 5. Bake at 375º for 5-8 minutes. Time varies with different cookie sheets and oven. Cookies will not look done but take out of oven. Wait 5 minutes then transfer to cooling rack (unless they're already golden brown around the edges then remove right away).
Buttercream Frosting: 1. Cream butter, beat in powdered sugar and vanilla until crumbly. Gradually add milk until desired consistency. 2. Separate frosting into smaller bowls and add coloring to each. 3. Frost and Sprinkle. Have Fun! Be creative! |
