½ cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla

2 cups and 2 tbsp Flour
½ tsp cream of tartar
½ tsp baking soda

Cream together
Butter, eggs, vanilla mixing gradually sugar

-roll into small balls place at 2" apart on untreated cookie sheet

Mix first ingredient together to created cookies

dip bottom of glass into margarine and sugar & press down to form cookies

Bake at 375º oven 10-12 min (preheated oven)
Do not let them brown
** freezes well
