2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4 oz) package of instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and baking soda. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Edges should be golden brown.
