2 C sugar
1 C shortening
2 eggs
3 C flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
2 heaping tsp cinnamon
1 heaping tsp cloves
1 C cold coffee
1 C raisins (optional)
2 C grated raw apples
2 C chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar & shortening, add eggs and coffee. Sift flour and spices together and add to sugar mixture. Add apples, nuts, raisins. Bake at 350 for 1 hour in a tube or bundt pan.
