1 c. Vegetable Shortening
1tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
⅔ c. Sugar
2 Eggs well beaten
2½ c. sifted Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening, salt and vanilla. Add sugar. Beat eggs and add to mixture. Beat thoroughly. Add flour and mix well. Drop from tsp. on baking sheet greased with spray. Let stand a few minutes then flatten cookies with glass.
Bake in moderately hot oven, 375º for 8-10 minutes or until delicately brown.
