"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
2 T Flour
2 T. butter
1 cup hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan, add flour. This will thicken. Add the sugar and water together then into the butter and flour... Boil
until thick ..... Original recipe I think calls for vanilla extract to taste when it is sauce consistency. Grandma had a "thing" about lemon and orange flavoring. So she would add lemon rind and juice. It is very good on Apple cakes or apple kuchen.
