1 lb. ground turkey (or beef)
1 chopped onion
1 can red kidney beans
1 large can tomato juice (Campbells is best)
1 potato, diced (optional)
1 to 2 Tablespoons chili powder
2 Tablespoons flour

Directions:
Directions:
~ While sautéing the turkey and onion, add a few shakes of garlic powder and teaspoon of chili powder.
~ Drain meat.  Add beans and all but 1 cup of the tomato juice (plus the potato, if using).
~ In a small bowl mix together chili powder and flour.  Pour in the saved cup of tomato juice and mix well. 
~ Pour into chili, blend well, and cook for about 30 minutes, covered.  Taste the cooked chili and see if it needs salt.
~ Serving suggestions:  soda crackers, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced onions.
