1 c. margarine (or butter)
8 oz. package cream cheese
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
12 oz. package mini chocolate chips
½ c. walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Cream together margarine (butter) and cream cheese in another bowl. Add sugars, egg, and vanilla to this and mix well. Pour flour and other ingredients into this bowl and mix well. Stir in nuts and mini chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Cook at 375º for about 11 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cookies may be frozen and taste very good when thawed.
