2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
1 med. head cabbage, finely chopped

1/2 recipe of white bread

Directions:
Directions:
Fry hamburger and drain. Season with salt & pepper as desired. Add onion and cabbage. Sauté until cabbage is tender. Set aside, and mix dough. Instead of shaping bread into rolls or loaves roll it out and cut into squares. Fill squares with hamburger mixture and pinch ends closed tightly. Place each bierock with pinched side down into greased pan and let raise. Bake in 350º oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. These freeze well.

Mom would make her bierocks and then make up the remainder of the dough into cinnamon rolls. Yummy!!!
