½ cup raisins
1 cup sugar
½ cup shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. soda
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. cloves
½ tsp. nutmeg
1 ¼ cup flour
1 cup oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and shortening. Add egg and blend well. Add applesauce and mix together. Add all dry ingredients that have been sifted together. Add oatmeal and raisins. Blend with large spoon. Bake in oven, preheated to 350 degrees, until done.
