CAKE:
1 cup plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
1 stick oleo (butter)
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
16 ounce Hershey's syrup
1 tsp vanilla

ICING:
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
nuts

Directions:

CAKE:
Cream margarine, sugar and eggs one at a time. Add flour and syrup; beat until well mixed. Add vanilla. Bake in 13X9 pan at 350º for 30 minutes.

ICING:
Add first 4 ingredients in pot over medium heat. Stir constantly until it boils; boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Put in sink of cold water and stir. Spread over cake; add nuts.
