1 CUP SUGAR
1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR PACKED
2 EGGGS
2 TSP. VANILLA
1 TBSP. WATER
1 TSP. SALT
1 TSP. BAKING SODA
2/3 CUP COCOA POWDER
2 CUPS FLOUR

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES.

CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGARS. ADD EGGS, VANILLA, AND WATER. BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH.
ADD SALT, BAKING SODA AND COCOA POWDER AND MIX WELL. ADD FLOUR MIXTURE AND MIX UNTIL JUST COMBINED.

ROLL INTO BALLS. ROLL BALLS IN SUGAR. PLACE ON PARCHMENT LINED SHEET.

BAKE 6 - 8 MINUTES UNTIL COOKIES ARE SET AND START TO SLIGHTLY CRACK ON TOP SLIGHTLY. LET COOL ON BAKING SHEET FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE TRANSFERRING TO RACK.
