Cream Together
1/2 c soft shortening
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar

2 eggs
1 c milk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix before adding
3 c flour
1 t soda
1 t salt
2 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the first 3 ingredients. Then milk together the dry ingredients. Them combine them all and can add nuts, raisins or chocolate chip if desired. Put in refrigerator and let stand at least 1 hour. Place on greased cookie sheets.
