Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Vegetable oil to cover bottom of pot
2 medium onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb ground beef
1 hot pepper, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tsp rosemary
salt & pepper to taste
½ tsp sugar (to cut acid)

Meatballs:
1 – 1½ lb ground beef
1 – 1½ lb ground pork
bread crumbs (to keep meat together and form balls)
1-2 tsp water
salt & pepper
parsley
garlic (to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Saute beef, garlic, onions, pepper rosemary and bay leaf. Add 3 cans tomato juice, a large can of crushed tomatoes and 1 can tomato paste.

Meatballs:
Mix thoroughly and form into 1-2 Tbsp balls
