1 Whole Chicken (big fat roaster if you can find one)
1 t. Chicken bouillon
Homemade noodles (Amish noodles or frozen Reames noodles work too)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover chicken in cold water in a large soup pot.
Simmer with bouillon until chicken is done.
Remove chicken from bones and strain broth.
Discard bones and skin.
Add shredded/chopped chicken back to broth.
Bring up to a boil again and add noodles.
Turn off heat and let sit for one hour.

Grandma's most requested recipe! In the "olden days" the chickens were fatter and the broth would be rich and yellow. Grandma and Auntie May always made their own noodles and there wasn't anything better!
