1 1/4 cup sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
one egg
1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup raisins
2/3 cup quick cooking oatmeal

Directions:

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and blend. Add the vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients alternating with sour cream. Lastly, folded raisins and oatmeal. Refrigerate overnight.

Drop by 1/2 teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet and bake in a 400° oven for 8 to 10 min.. Remove cookie sheet and cool on brown paper bags.
