1/2 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and sugar. Cool until lukewarm. Beat eggs into this mixture. Sift baking powder and flour together. Add to caramel mixture and mix well. Spread thinly into pan. Sprinkle with nuts and bake at 300º for 10 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
