2 1/4 c flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 c butter, 3/4 packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup white sugar, 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 eggs, 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º. Combine the flour and baking soda. Set aside. Mix the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, pudding mix, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the eggs and mix well. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets about 1 inch apart. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes.

This recipe is awesome because you can change it up depending on your tastes. Use butterscotch or chocolate pudding instead of vanilla. Use peanut butter chips or white chocolate chips instead of chocolate chips. Throw in a cup of chopped walnuts. Every variation I've done has turned out delicious!
