Unbaked pie shell (deep dish)
1 cup packed brown sugar
5 oz pecan halves
3 eggs
1 cups light Karo syrup
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients in bowl (except pie shell); mix well but do not over mix. Pour into pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes (until set).

I remember Thanksgiving and Christmas at my grandma's house as a little girl and this was the pie she would make. I miss you grandma. Thanks for your love and teaching me how to bake.
