Ingredients:  
3 3/8 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/8 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup shortening
3/8 cup sugar
1 (6 oz) pkg instant vanilla or chocolate pudding (depends on if you want reg. or choc. cookies)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3/16 tsp almond extract
3 eggs beaten
3 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Combine flour and baking soda.
In a large bowl beat brown sugar, sugar, butter, shortening, pudding mix, vanilla, and almond extract.
Mix until well blended.
Add eggs and mix well.
Beat in the flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded Tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart and bake 10-12 minutes.
