1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup molasses
1 egg
2 T water
2 2/3 cups all purpose floor
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp Allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add water, molasses, and egg to wet mixture. Mix dry ingredients together and add slowly to cream mixture. Place dough in refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll the dough to 1/4 inch on parchment paper, and cut out with with gingerbread man cookie cutter. Slide onto cookie sheet from parchment paper and bake at 350º. Check at 12 minutes and bake until lightly browned.
