3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
½ tsp. nutmeg
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Into a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, and nutmeg. Cut in shortening. Set aside. In another bowl, beat eggs thoroughly. Add sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat well and pour into the dry ingredients. Roll, cut, and bake in a 375 degrees oven until nicely brown.
