1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
pinch cinnamon
1 c. dried cranberries
1 c. chopped white chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, beat together shortening, butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together rolled oats, flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; stir into butter mixture, one-third at a time. Stir in cranberries and white chocolate.

Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto greased baking sheets; flatten slightly with floured fork. Bake in 350ºF for 12 to 14 minutes until golden brown.
