2 1/2 sticks or 1 1/4 Cup butter
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
2 cups coconut
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups flour*
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

*Note: Mother used bleached flour. Use a #40 scoop. Cream butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add flour mix to batter. Add oats and coconut. Bake 375 º for 15 minutes. 18 to 22 minutes for crispy.
