1 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
3 c. flour
1 can cherry pie filling
Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oven to 375º
Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each one.
Stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
Stir in the flour; the batter will be stiff.
Spread 2/3 of the batter in 10"x 15" pan. Form a rim like a pizza.
Dollop the pie filling over the batter.
Put the remaining batter in blotches over the filling.
Bake 30-35 min.
When cool, glaze with confectioner's sugar and water if desired.
