Mix liquid ingredients first:
1 1/2 c. Shortening, butter flavor (or can use half butter)
1 1/2 c. Sugar
2 eggs

Mix dry ingredients separately:
2 3/4 c. Flour
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. Salt

*Then mix altogether*

Then separately mix:
2 tbsp. Sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon (or more to your preference)

Roll into 1” balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture and place on ungreased baking sheet or stone.
For soft cookies bake for about 10 minutes at 300 degrees, for more crispy bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen 2 inch delicious cookies.
